BIR: A Waste Disposal Management App

BIR is an Android app developed by Norconsult Informasjonssystemer AS, available for free in the Business & Productivity category. The app provides subscribers in and around Bergen with an overview of the days on which they have disposal of their wastes. With the help of GPS or by searching the address, users can select the property and subscribe to clear the calendar for multiple properties. The app displays the timing of the type of waste to be discharged, and the notification for the day before the tømmedag is automatically set but can be changed in the settings. Users can also change the time of notification and choose whether they want only alert displayed wastes. The app also takes public holidays into account and provides the correct date for emptying. The application also displays contact information.
